Focus Enhancements Ships Ultra Wideband Evaluation System

(NASDAQ: FCSE) announced it has started shipping Ultra Wideband (UWB) evaluation systems targeting the development of both personal computer and consumer electronics applications. The platform contains a PCI card with both the Focus Enhancements' digital and analog UWB chips. The system performing in WiMedia MB-OFDM UWB mode was demonstrated earlier this month in Hillsboro, OR and Campbell, CA.

FCSE1.44, -0.01, -0.7%) , a worldwide leader in video production and conversion technology, announced preliminary revenue results for the third quarter of 2006 and raised its revenue guidance for the full 2006 calendar year.
Third Quarter 2006 Preliminary Revenue
The company now expects total revenue for the third quarter of 2006 to be approximately $11.5 million, compared to prior guidance of approximately $10.0 million given by the company on August 10, 2006. This third quarter 2006 preliminary revenue represents an increase of over 65 percent from the $6.9 million in reported revenue for the third quarter of 2005.
Full Year 2006 Guidance Update
Based upon currently available information, the company is increasing its full year 2006 revenue expectations from approximately $36.0 million to approximately $37.5 million, representing growth of greater than 50 percent compared to full year 2005 reported revenue of $24.6 million. As a result of a significant increase in the Semiconductor Business during the third quarter of 2006, full year Semiconductor Business revenue expected to more than triple to approximately $11 million versus $3.4 million last year. The company now expects semiconductor sales to be approximately 30 percent of 2006 revenue versus 14 percent of 2005 revenue.
"2006 has been a strong year for the portable media player (PMP) market, which bodes well for our Semiconductor Business and led to higher sales during the third quarter. Overall, this allows us to increase our full year revenue guidance," stated Brett Moyer, president and chief executive officer of Focus Enhancements. "As our partners prepare for the highly anticipated holiday PMP launch, we believe that a successful launch of these PMPs will drive continued revenue growth in 2007."
These expected results are preliminary and are subject to adjustments and other changes which may occur during the company's review of its financials in consultation with its audit firm between now and its announcement of final results. There can be no assurance that the company's final results for the third quarter 2006 will be within the range specified above. Final results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006 are expected to be reported during the week of November 6, 2006 at which time management will conduct a conference call.

La trimestrale in questo momento no e' molto rilevante. Se salira' lo fara' per speculazione. Se forniscono uno dei chip delle Zune gli utili potrebbero decollare. Se invece viene fuori che cosi' non e' fa -30% in un giorno. :yes:
 
Come vi sembra FCSE??

Sono nuovo del forum e mi sembra frequentato molto bene..
Ho già tradato due volte questo titolo una volta a 0.78 uscito a 1.1 e
vedendo che la situazione era rimasta buona sono rientrato più avanti a 1.15
ed uscito a 1.45 a novembre anche perchè in quel momento non potevo
controllare il titolo.
Ma a me ora sembra ancora buono per un'altra corsa cosa dite

(NASDAQ:FCSE - News) a worldwide leader of wireless audio and video (AV) distribution solutions, video conversion and digital media products, announced today that on September 16, 2008, it filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. The company will continue to operate its business as a "debtor-in-possession" under the jurisdiction of the Court.

On September 15, 2008, the company received notification from the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel (the Panel") that the Panel has determined to delist the company's securities from The NASDAQ Capital Market, effective at the open of business on September 17, 2008.

The company had presented a plan of compliance on September 4, 2008 to the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel and requested additional time to regain compliance with the minimum stockholders' equity and bid price requirements for continued listing on The NASDAQ Capital Market.
