This rule will prohibit broker dealers, like TradeStation Securities Inc, from displaying any bid/ask quotations for any issuer’s securities who fail to provide the public reporting requirements set forth by the SEC. Please be advised you have been identified as a client who holds or has held one of these positions. The amendments were created to provide investors with a higher degree of transparency by making certain information about the issuer and security current and publicly available prior to being quoted. Due to these changes, there will likely be a reduced number of market makers for these securities making it more difficult to liquidate your positions.

Beginning August 28, 2021, TradeStation Securities, Inc will not accept any buy orders for any impacted OTC securities described above and all GTC buy orders will be cancelled. Customers will still be able to place closing orders or submit transfer requests for the impacted securities up until the effective amendment date of September 28, 2021. Closing orders will be subject to the following restrictions:



You must not be an Affiliate, Insider, or Control Person of the company



Quotes will not be available



Limit orders only

Beginning September 28, 2021, customers will no longer be able to open or liquidate any positions in these impacted OTC traded securities at TradeStation Securities Inc. Customers will see no bid/ask quotations for any security impacted by this rule change and will be limited to transferring your open positions. Please note that holding any existing positions in these impacted securities could impact your ability to sell at a later date and with minimal market information.

Mettiamola così: se un titolo non raggiungesse gli standard SEC di sicurezza e informazioni entro il 28/09, allora non potrà essere negoziato, ma è pur vero che se non viene delistato/revocato allora appena ritornasse a dare informazioni, beh allora tornerebbe negoziabile.
Il reale problema invece, sono i titoli che non ti lasciano tradare adducendoti che la colpa sia della SEC mentre son loro i broker a non volerli tradare.

Anche perchè, ad oggi, non ho trovato broker che accettino in entrata transfer di otc.

Anch'io ho lo stesso tipo di problema. Con il conto Binck chiuso arbitrariamente e i titoli trasferiti sulla banca d'appoggio, dove non sono né tradabili, né trasferibili. Come avete risolto? Qualcuno è riuscito a farsi reintegrare?

Il reale problema invece, sono i titoli che non ti lasciano tradare adducendoti che la colpa sia della SEC mentre son loro i broker a non volerli tradare.

Curiose queste società di trading che si rifutano di vendere i titoli, perché classificati Grey o altro. In linea teorica, fanno solo i mediatori, mettono solo i trader in comunicazione con i mercati, mica sopportano il rischio della presunta inaffidabilità dell'azione, anzi ci guadagnano qualcosina con le commissioni. Io che, grazie a Binck (che mi ha estromesso a forza dal conto), sono rimasto incastrato con un grosso valore di OTC, che ora non riesco a piazzare, sarei anche disposto a trattare sulle cifre, a sostenere gli eventuali costi. Potrei anche andare da un grande player che tratta gli OTC e dire "Ecco per voi 10.000 euro belli caldi", dovete solo alzare il telefono e darmi l'accesso a quel determinato mercato. Ma ho l'impressione che sia più facile a dirsi che a farsi. Perché?

Quindi pare che diventare cliente etrade sia un inferno, rimane Interactive Broker come opzione più semplice per iniziare a comprare otc o c'è altro?
