Tiny Microvision (MVIS) is finding larger takers for its minute
scanners. Johnson & Johnson's (JNJ) Ethicon Endo Surgery unit, a
leader in endoscopic instruments, just signed an $11.7 million deal
with Microvision to develop a laser scanner installed at the end of
a probe used in endoscopic surgery. CEO Ric Rutkowski says
Microvision's mini laser eye emits bright color and sharp images
projected on a screen. He says the J&J pact will give Microvision
$6.2 million for a prototype and the remaining $5.5 million upon
approval.
James Fitzpatrick, founder of Princeton Capital Management, which
owns shares, says he is impressed by the company's tiny scanners
and its partnering with such customers as the U.S. Army, J&J, Canon
(CAJ), and Honda (HMC). And Microvision, now at 5.15 a share, has a
hidden asset: It owns 33% of Lumera (LMRA), a designer of molecular
structures and polymer compounds for nanotechnology uses. Based on
Lumera's stock price of 6, the stake is worth about $32.4 million,
or 1.50 a share in Microvision stock, figures Rutkowski.
He sees Microvision in the black in 2006 on sharply higher sales.
In 2005 the company will show a loss, but analysts see sales of
over $20 million vs. 2004's $11 million.

Defense work may go to four area firms
Microvision, Intermec, CombiMatrix and Crane Aerospace could split a
total of $27 million.

Four local companies are in line to receive a combined $27 million
from this year's defense spending bill, which passed the U.S. Senate
in a unanimous vote on Friday.
Assuming that all the proposed military projects stay in the bill as
it makes its way to the White House, Microvision Inc. of Bothell
will benefit more than any other company in the state. The company
could receive $11.2 million to provide Stryker Brigade combat teams
with Nomad-augmented vision helmets.
At least 100 of the helmets, which display digital battlefield
information in front of a vehicle commander's eyes, already have
been used by Styker teams in Iraq. The spending bill calls for
buying nearly 1,600 more of the helmets.
Intermec Technologies of Everett would receive $10 million as part
of its ongoing work to help the military accurately track equipment
and parts.
CombiMatrix Corp. of Mukilteo would receive $4 million to further
develop a cost-effective device that can reliably detect biological
and chemical warfare agents.
The bill includes $2.5 million for Lynnwood's Crane Aerospace, which
is developing a weights and balance system to improve the safety and
speed of the military's C-130 cargo planes.
All four local companies named in the bill previously have done work
with the military.
The bill also includes millions of dollars to improve security at
Navy bases in the region, including Naval Station Everett.
Sen. Patty Murray's office reported that the bill includes more than
$113 million in military contracts for Washington state companies.
Overall, the Senate defense bill provides $445 billion for the 2006
budget year, which began Oct. 1.
The House of Representatives already has passed its own version of
the bill, and negotiators from both branches of Congress will work
out their differences in the coming weeks.

Chiedo scusa a chi come me ha creduto in questo titolo e se l'ho pubblicizzato, mi sono fidata di un certo Mobius che credevo fosse una persona onesta e seria, purtroppo ho avuto a che fare con un fanfarone che vuole fare credere agli altri di intendersene di borsa, grazie a questo omuncolo ci ho rimesso parecchi soldi, si era offerto di aiutarmi ed invece mi ha rovinata, spero che i soldi che guadagnerà li spenda in medicine.

sembra si sia messa sulla buona strada per un inversione di lungo .probabilmente và a testare la mm. a 50 giorni che oggi è a 3,14 e che potrebbe essere la 1 onda rialzista per poi fare una piccola correzione 2 onda e via per per la terza onda che sarà lunghetta (almeno lo spero io non ho certezze.) un occhio anche a MLIN che è da novembre in trading range

uscito a 3,57 rientro a al ritesto della mm 50 che presumibilmente dovrebbe essere sui 3$ dicono non abbia buoni fondamentali ma io di bilanci non ne capisco una cippa
vedo solo che i grafici fanno delle figure tecniche e solo a quelli mi attengo ( le news escono sempre dopo)
