il mio interesse nel settore wireless mi ha portato a conoscere Sierra Wireless (SWIR), ritengo che sul lungo potrebbe dare soddisfazioni, mercoledì ha pubblicato i dati del terzo trimestre che pur battendo le stime non hanno evitato al titolo di scendere dai 19,1 dollari (Massimo del 15 ottobre) ai 14.10 dollari (minimo del 24 Ottobre), un bel 26%, non poco, intorno ai 13,5$ passa la media 50, che potrebbe fare da supporto, a 16.87 c'è un gap aperto il 23 ottobre, questo è il profilo:

ALlego grafico daily, con evidenziato il gap, mi farebbe piacere avere qualche notizia in merito da qualche esperto del settore "wireless" per conoscere le potenzialità dei suoi prodotti

Hitachi and Sierra Wireless Team Up to Provide VisionPlate Cellular Thin Client Solution to Mobile Field Forces

SAN JOSE, CA - October 23, 2003 - Hitachi Ubiquitous Business Solutions (UBS) today announced plans to form a strategic relationship with Sierra Wireless (Nasdaq:SWIR; TSX:SW). The companies joined forces to deliver an integrated wireless tablet solution called VisionPlate, for mobile professionals in the healthcare, hospitality, transportation, and event management industries. This offering will enable mobile professionals in a wide range of industries to quickly deploy secure wireless access to enterprise and corporate applications, anytime, anywhere.

"We believe the market is at the beginning of a large growth cycle providing both companies with an enormous opportunity," said Shigemi Adachi, general manager of Hitachi Ubiquitous Business Solutions. "Strengthening our relationship with Sierra Wireless and integrating these mobile solutions on a global scale will drive our two companies into worldwide leadership positions in this exciting new industry."

Hitachi certified the Sierra Wireless AirCard® PC Card products to operate with the VisionPlate wireless tablet over new high-speed wireless networks including CDMA2000 1X and GSM/GPRS (Global System for Mobile communication/General Packet Radio Services). By combining the strength of Hitachi's VisionPlate wireless tablet and Sierra Wireless AirCard products and services, Hitachi mobile customers will now have the power and flexibility to access mission critical information in real time including the Internet, corporate applications, and email from a host of server-based applications while traveling or working away from the office.

"We rigorously tested the Sierra Wireless AirCard for use with the VisionPlate wireless tablet, and it performed exceptionally well at every phase of our testing process in the UBS Product Certification Program," said Derek Sip, Director of Engineering. "The AirCard powers VisionPlate with fast and reliable wireless access to information while operating over CDMA, GSM, and GPRS networks."

"Hitachi customers in business, energy, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors can now discover new ways to extend applications to a mobile workforce that requires high performance wireless solutions," said Jason Cohenour, senior vice president, Worldwide Sales for Sierra Wireless. "Our partnership with Hitachi will provide a larger number of enterprise customers with greater access to critical business applications and a much broader scope of wireless access on high-speed wireless networks."

Hitachi also noted that it has joined the Wireless Ready Alliance (WRA), an organization founded by Sierra Wireless. The WRA unites leading computer hardware manufacturers, software application vendors, wireless telephony companies and value-added enterprise service providers for the purpose of working together to create compelling end-to-end mobile, wireless data solutions

premessa non conosco il titolo vedendolo così è un torna a casa.... (15.4/8)società buona e sicuramente in crescita si è beccata un downgrade a fine novembre vista a 21 giorni fà paura per questo dico che potrebbe tornare da dove è partita...titolo da mettere sicuramente in watchlist...;)

azz vero non avevo notato questo particolare....:rolleyes: :rolleyes: fino ad ora ha sempre sostenuto il movimento ed ora ci sta seduto sopra....:) da valutare ancora con più attenzione allora:)

sai com'è non vorrei mi scappasse ancora sotto il naso, la volta precedente mi ha fatto un rialzo del 46%, da 14,59 a 21,36
porca di quella t.... :D :D

ieri poi si è fermata esattamente al minimo registrato il 26/11

va beh, vediamo che fà in apertura

no dai non è una cassata sono entrati in molti su quel livello sono passati un 100.000 pz mal che vada domani gliele rendi alla pari :)
