TEL AVIV (Reuters) - Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TEVA.TA) reported a smaller-than-expected drop in second-quarter profit on Wednesday and said its chief financial officer was leaving the company.
The world’s largest generic drugmaker earned 60 cents per diluted share excluding one-time items in the April-June quarter, down from 78 cents a year earlier.
Revenue fell 8% to $4.34 billion mainly due to generic competition to its multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone and lower revenues from cholesterol treatment Treanda.
Analysts had forecast Teva (TEVA.N) would earn 57 cents a share ex-items on revenue of $4.25 billion, according to I/B/E/S data from Refinitiv.
“We are on track to achieve the targets of our two-year restructuring plan and based on our good results for the first half of the year we are reaffirming our full year guidance,” Chief Executive Kare Schultz said.
For 2019, the company had forecast adjusted EPS of $2.20-$2.50 and revenue of $17.0-$17.4 billion. Analysts are forecasting EPS of $2.37 on revenue of $17.14 billion.
Teva said Michael McClellan had decided to step down as CFO due to personal reasons requiring him to be located near his family. Teva has begun a search for a new CFO and McClellan is expected to remain in his role until after the group’s third quarter results.
Teva had legal settlements and loss contingencies of $646 million in the quarter. These mainly related to an $85 million settlement paid in litigation brought by the Oklahoma attorney general and an estimated provision made for certain other opioid cases they may settle in the future.

Vero. Tuttavia questo probabilmente non basta a risollevare la fiducia degli investitori sull'azienda...che ha ancora molta strada da fare per riassestarsi.
Proprio per questo è assai difficile ipotizzare se...a questi prezzi..possa essere un' occasione di acquisto..

Le obbligazioni non dovrebbero avere grossi problemi, le azioni credo hanno già subito un grosso taglio e possono scendere ancora ma io ipotizzo un assestamento .... poi e anche vero che il mercato può essere manovrato, anche da pochi, in un verso o nell'altro.
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries -5%. Il produttore di farmaci generici ha chiuso il secondo trimestre con un utile per azione adjusted in calo a 0,60 dollari da 0,78 dollari dello stesso periodo di un anno prima. I ricavi sono diminuiti dell'8% a 4,34 miliardi.
Oggi anche le obbligazioni sono scese naturalmente dopo il comunicato ..... attendo che risalgano, anche se non a breve, quindi cedolo.

M....a i bond di TEVA stanno andando alla deriva ...... e complimenti alla farmaceutica ..... se non fosse per la size acquisteri in discesa mediando piccoli cippini ma con size da 100.000 come fai a mediare !!!!!!!!!!!! peccato, colpa delle solite banche ingorde !!!!!!!!!

Oppure la 6,1% costa 77,00 in $
Tagli piccoli.. a sti prezi se sale compensi nel peggiore delle ipotesi pure il risk change.

Attenderei a cantare vittoria ,vediamole controversie come procedono nei prossimi mesi.....ma godiamoci il piccolo rialzo che cmq e di buon auspicio.

Ce un buon accordo di massima x il 75% di tutti gli stati ,questo e molto buono.
Vediamo che succede ,l azione continua a salire e passata d 6,5 a 10,70 di oggi in qualche settimana x cui trend costante.
