Eagle Broadband - EAG

Eagle Broadband Receives First International Set-Top Box Order from General Dynamics Interactive & EMT for Deployment at Luxury InterContinental Singapore Hotel
Wednesday October 13, 10:28 am ET

Most Recent Order Highlights Global Hospitality Market Demand for Eagle's Advanced Set-Top Box Technology

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 13, 2004-- Eagle Broadband, Inc. (AMEX:EAG - News), a leading provider of broadband and communications technology and services, announced today that the company has received its first international order for the company's advanced Media Pro set-top box technology for deployment with General Dynamics Interactive's Intrigue® Multimedia System at the world-class InterContinental Singapore hotel.

This is the most recent order placed by General Dynamics Interactive (GDI), a business area of General Dynamics C4 Systems. GDI is a leading provider of interactive in-room digital entertainment and information systems to the hospitality industry. The InterContinental Singapore project was secured with Entertainment Media and Telecoms (EMT) Corporation Ltd., a leading provider of Digital Services Delivery Systems for the Hospitality sector. EMT distributes the Intrigue system as a channel partner of General Dynamics C4 Systems.

The order demonstrates growing demand from international hospitality customers for Eagle's advanced IP set-top box technology.

EMT is using Eagle's Media-Pro set-top box technology with the Intrigue® multimedia in-room entertainment and information system to deliver a range of interactive guest services including true digital movies and music-on-demand with DVD functionality, high-speed Internet access, an interactive television guide, electronic concierge services, on-line shopping, video checkout, and other revenue generating guest services. The new system delivers exciting new services for hotel guests providing an exceptional in-room entertainment experience.

"We selected Eagle's Media Pro set-top box technology because it provides the performance, quality and reliability we demand. The technology from Eagle Broadband is driving higher standards into selected EMT installations and creating faster, more dynamic entertainment experiences for guests." said Geoff Milne, CEO of the Entertainment Media division of EMT. "We look forward to continuing to leverage Eagle's industry-leading technology to deliver the most advanced digital in-room entertainment solutions to additional EMT hospitality customers both in the U.S. and abroad," Milne added.

Dave Weisman, CEO of Eagle Broadband, commented, "The international hospitality market represents a significant growth opportunity for Eagle's set-top box business. Our first international order validates that our Media Pro set-top box can meet the needs of international hospitality customers as well as those in the U.S. We welcome the opportunity to assist EMT and GDI in meeting the in-room entertainment needs of an additional InterContinental hotel property and look forward to working with other EMT and GDI hospitality customers in the future."

Eagle's advanced line of Media Pro set-top boxes enables hotel, resort and casino owners, hospitals, apartment/condominium owners, municipalities, real estate developers and schools to deliver a range of interactive services that can generate higher-margin revenues. The Media Pro features a highly reliable, full-function computer with a compact footprint and very quiet, guest-friendly, fan-less design. Either standalone or when combined with Eagle's customizable EZ-Magic middleware software, the customizable Media Pro delivers very high quality standard or high definition streaming video, improved digital audio, easier navigation of hotel and community services (i.e., concierge, local restaurants and events, etc.), advanced content and system security and support for a wide variety of hardware platforms.

Han pagato pure i fornitori in azioni?? Boh...

Accounts Payable $ 8,928
Accrued Expenses 3,616
Notes Payable 5,581
Deferred Revenue 492

"The Company expects that certain of its liabilities listed on the balance sheet under the headings Accounts Payable, Accrued Liabilities and Notes Payable will be retired by issuing stock versus cash during the next 12 months."

The 10,000,000 shares, the resale of which is being registered hereunder,
may be sold by the selling stockholders into the public market pursuant to this
prospectus. Further sales of shares of our common stock, or the perception that
such sales may occur, could adversely affect the market price of our common
stock. We recently registered the resale of an aggregate of 10,033,163 shares of
common stock in August 2004. In July 2004, we registered the resale of an
aggregate of 15,952,438 shares of common stock. While we believe that such
shares have been resold, a market perception that these shares have not been
resold could have a depressive effect on the price of our common stock. A
depressed stock price could impair our ability to raise capital through the sale
of equity securities.

il problema comunque, ora e Truckee ??
vero?

Ovviamente Truckee sarebbe bene portarsela a casa...

Roger

Maybe there is a misconception here.

Every single one of the Press Releases we have put out in the last two months are real revenue releases with real money associated with them. We have shipped millions of dollars of Aerovision equipment already. We have already taken a great deal of revenue from the Atlanta project and all the other deals, including this one represent millions of dollars of revenue that has either already been shipped or will be shipped very soon. There is a real reason for getting SatMax on the GSA schedule which will be unveiled as soon as we can. This is real business and real momentum.

Frankly, while my job is to run a company not a stock price I am concerned about the recent performance of our stock and am baffled by it. We have announced more deals and more partners and more business in multiple areas than ever before and for some reason the stock price doesn’t yet reflect these extraordinary accomplishments.

I have never issued a feel good release. I believe in announcing really positive wins and providing timely updates to our shareholders. Currently we are working very big deals across our product lines and I am eager to inform our shareholders about these new developments as soon as my partners will allow me to.

We have a VP of Sales that’s amazing. We have hired 15 new Sales people and we are expanding several components of our business. We’re doing all of this to drive our company and build even more momentum. The $1.7M HDTV STB order recently announced is the largest HDTV order for any company ever as far as we know and we are extremely excited about winning more and bigger deals. This is our time and I’m proud to be here and you can share this message with anyone you like.

Keep the faith

Dave W

Dave...

please...no more good news PRs --my portfolio can't handle it!! LOL!!

I'm afraod that people who are long on eag have completly lost control of the stock price. Too bad...that's really the only way people will judge EAG management.

still keeping the faith and hoping you have some real numbers up your sleeve.
