Shares of JDSU (JDSU 22.00, +4.07, +22.70%) , the Milpitas, Calif.-based company formerly known as JDS Uniphase, soared more than 20% to $22.08, rallying after financial results reported late Thursday showed it swinging to a profit on a big jump in sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2011.

“It’s back to a positive bias for JDSU,” RBC Capital analyst Mark Sue said in a note. “The company is pointing to increasing visibility driven by healthy demand for its key products.”

JDS Uniphase Corp (NASDAQ:JDSU) broke out on Friday and still looks good here for higher prices. The stock could be bought again as it breaks over 15 on heavy volume.
