Synergx Systems Inc. Announces New Transit Contract

SYOSSET, N.Y., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Synergx (Nasdaq: SYNX - News) announces that its Casey Systems subsidiary has received an initial $400,000 purchase order of what is expected to be a multi-million dollar contract for design, development and supply of the next generation CCTV and security system for the New York City Transit Authority. This system will be installed at 32 stations identified by the Transit Authority as part of its station security, communication, and upgrade project.

This contract follows Casey's installation of a prototype system at the 231st Street station in the Bronx. Casey engineers designed and developed this system using next generation technologies from a variety of manufacturers brought together by Casey's system integration team. Casey is a recognized leader for providing low voltage systems to public transportation authorities.
