TOPPING, Va., Feb 23, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- XcelPlus Global Holdings Inc. (Pink Sheets: XPGH) announces that it is beginning Phase One Funding talks with capital sources this week. "We anticipate a successful conclusion, with a funding announcement as early as the end of February," said J. Michael Parsons, President and Chief Executive Officer of XcelPlus Global Holdings.
The funding will enable the company to participate in the Global Energy initiative to help make clean, renewable and alternative energy available to industrial and consumer customers. "There is still much to be done in educating the public about the exciting opportunities in renewable and alternative fuels for boilers, coal plants and E85 conversions, not to mention solar and wind energies," he said. "These energy sources are clean and cost much less than our current petroleum and coal-based fuels. Most citizens are now ready to take advantage of cheaper and cleaner energy sources to become energy independent."
The company plans on sharing in the various grants and tax incentives available for the use of renewable fuels. "The Obama team has legislated billons of dollars for the development and implementation of these programs, and we will be on the cutting edge of helping bring these technologies to the consumer and industrial markets," Parsons concluded.

XcelPlus in Contract Negotiations to Supply Alternative Fuels
Thursday March 5, 2009, 12:46 pm EST
Buzz up! Print TOPPING, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--XcelPlus Global Holdings Inc. (Pink Sheets:XPGH - News) has completed successful tests and is now in contract discussions to supply its GlyClene™ and GlyCoal™ alternative fuels to Oldcastle Materials and GlyClene to Perdue Farms.

Contract negotiations began after demonstration burns were completed in February at facilities for both companies. Oldcastle Materials, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and a subsidiary of CRH, Dublin, Ireland, would use GlyClene and GlyCoal fuel supplements in its U.S. concrete kilns and asphalt plants. Perdue Farms would use GlyClene to help power its boilers at 38 operating plants.

Oldcastle is the largest producer of asphalt paving material in the U.S. and one of the top five ready-mix concrete producers. "We estimate that revenue from the Oldcastle contract alone could exceed $30 million a year, " said XcelPlus President J. Michael Parsons.

XcelPlus Global’s GlyClene and GlyCoal are new alternative fuels that can be used to offset fossil fuels and the carbon emissions resulting from burning fossil fuels. Both products are produced by XcelPlus Global’s proprietary process using waste byproducts from biodiesel production.

Tax Subsidies Boost Interest in XcelPlus Global Holdings' GlyClene Alternative Fuel
Friday April 17, 2009, 8:00 am EDT
Buzz up! Print DOTHAN, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--XcelPlus Global Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets: XPGH - News) reports that the government's green-fuel tax subsidy of 50 cents per gallon is driving an increase in interest and demand for its GlyClene™ alternative fuel. "We're getting a nice assist from the government now, with the alternative fuels tax subsidy," said J. Michael Parsons, president of XcelPlus Global Holdings, Inc. "Our customers are now receiving a 50-cent-per-gallon government subsidy for each gallon of GlyClene fuel burned, giving our product both monetary and environmental advantages, and significantly boosting demand and interest. Customers get a government-paid 50-cent refund on every gallon of GlyClene purchased. In just one example highlighting how much money is at stake for users of green fuels, International Paper recently reported receiving a government check for $71.6 million as a result of just one month's production and use of alternative fuels for 15 of its mills."

Parsons added that XcelPlus Global Holdings continues to seek supply partners in the biodiesel industry looking for a profitable way to dispose of their waste byproducts – the raw material for GlyClene. "The low price of conventional diesel fuel makes biodiesel a money-losing proposition to produce right now," Parsons explained. "However, when biodiesel producers can generate a profit stream from their waste products, it levels the playing field with conventional diesel. Sales of our GlyClene fuel have the potential to level that playing field and revive the moribund bio-fuel industry by adding a new value stream for biodiesel producers. We believe GlyClene holds the key to the future of the biodiesel industry."
