We’re making a few tweaks to our EEA Subscription Schedule. Don’t worry – it’s good news. Some months have more than 30 days, some months have less – it can be hard to keep track. So we’ve listened to your feedback and will now reset your limits on the first of every calendar month. Easy!
What limits?
You will have different limits depending on what Curve plan you’re on. The following transaction fees will now be calculated on a monthly basis.
• ATM Withdrawal Fees
• Currency Conversion Fee*
• Foreign ATM Withdrawal Fees
• Curve Fronted Fee
• Commercial Funding Card Fee
• International Funding Fee
*If you are a Curve Metal customer you benefit from fee-free currency conversion transactions up to €100,000 per calendar year.
Weekend currency conversion fee
We’ve also clarified how the weekend currency conversion fee is applied for purchases and ATM withdrawals over the weekend or UK public holidays. Remember, a weekend fee is only applied if you’re spending in a currency other than GBP, EUR or USD.
If the currency of your payment source and the transaction (i.e the currency at the point of sale) you are making are different:
• We will not apply a Weekend Currency Conversion Fee in addition to the Currency Conversion Fee or the Foreign ATM Withdrawal Fees where the currency of your transaction (i.e the currency at the point of sale) is EUR, GBP or USD.
• We charge a 1% Weekend Currency Conversion Fee in addition to the Currency Conversion Fee or the Foreign ATM Withdrawal Fees where the currency of your transaction (i.e the currency at the point of sale) is in any currency other than EUR, GBP or USD.
1% Instant Cashback
As you already know, if you’re a Curve Black customer you can earn 1% cashback from up to 6 retailers and up to 12 retailers if you are a Curve Metal customer. We have now updated our Subscription Schedule to reflect that.
What do I need to do now?
As the changes outlined above are all either clearly in your favour or clarificatory in nature, they will apply with immediate effect. If you’re unhappy with the changes we’ve made and wish to close your account, please get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
